The band says:
Duke is a kick ass, four piece rock band from Austin, Texas. Growing up together
has given the band chemistry makes their creative take on punk rock and metal that
much more powerful. Their brazen and ballsy sets of straight- forward rock and roll
have been gaining them loyal fans in Austin’s saturated music scene since 2004.
Live shows that are full of energy as well as musical proficiency of the band itself
have made Duke a versatile act that stands out to a broad audience, This, of course,
is not to mention the band members, whose powerful, masculine presences inspire
ladies everywhere to guzzle liquor and take off their clothes. Long live Duke.

Duke, Legions' newest group, signed in February of 2007. As their own bio rightfully
claims, Duke IS a "kick ass rock" band
from the north side of Austin, Texas. Formed in 2004, each member brought their
individual talent to an outstanding and energetic musical "Club Sandwich" of many
styles from old-school punk, alternative rock, and metal to licks reminiscent of
Iron Maiden and Faith No More. Duke is definitely a band not to miss. Neither their
musical talent nor their live shows are soon forgotten. From Matt singing while
bending back so his head almost touches the floor and Brian never dropping a beat
while making entertaining faces as he plays, to Travis and Jon's backing vocals
and banter between songs, each performance is a show to remember. We are honored
to have them aboard.
